Jacqueline Holzheimer, President
Jacqueline is President of Holzheimer Interiors, Inc. and the fifth generation of the family in the business. As a fully licensed interior designer, she has taken over the company and is committed to another generation of design excellence.

Jackie grew up in the industry but what drove her to the business is the chance to help others. She explains, “When you solve a client’s problems and create a home for them, not just a house, it really makes a difference in their lives. I want my clients to enjoy their spaces and have something that is fitting to their unique taste and lifestyle.”

Although she is passionate about her work and feels it is central to who she is, she doesn’t want the spaces she creates to be “Jackie Holzheimer” spaces. Her work reflects the client’s personality, not hers.

She graduated from Ohio University with a major in Interior Architecture and a double minor in Art and Retail Merchandising. Jackie also has an MBA from John Carroll University with a focus on management. Her studies, combined with her strong personal attributes and hands on work experience have prepared her for a successful career in the design and construction field. She has gained solid experience by working fulltime in the industry and has been involved in many areas of the field, from new construction, to renovation, to purely cosmetics.

Ms. Holzheimer is involved in all aspects of the company including managing relationships with local craftsmen; working with builders and architects; supervising other Holzheimer employees; handling company finances; heading up research and development of new products, materials and techniques; and of course, actual design. Ms. Holzheimer is an active professional member of the American Society for Interior Design (ASID) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), is involved in various other professional organizations, and has been a Habitat for Humanity volunteer. Kathryn Holzheimer, Vice President
Katie Holzheimer is recognized as a leader in the design industry. As a professional member of the American Society for Interior Design, has vast knowledge of new construction, architectural detailing, lighting, cabinetry, and flooring. As an experienced designer with a bachelor’s degree in the fine arts, wall décor, textures, and harmonious color palettes are her specialties.

As a little girl, Katie Holzheimer loved running through the office and shop of her father’s interior design business on Saturday mornings, playing hide-and-seek among the stockpiles of fabrics, getting to know the different plumbers, electricians, and designers. As a fourth generation interior designer, Katie explains “I was groomed for this. I had some great teachers. Especially my dad, who showed me so much.”

Today, Katie Holzheimer is vice president of Holzheimer Interiors, Inc., and has watched as her daughter, Jackie Holzheimer, continues on the fifth generation of the business as vice-president. Katie’s passion is to "make a house into a home." With over 35 years of experience, her trained eye serves as a guide in making any decorating decision.

What began in 1902 with John Holzheimer selling paint and wall coverings off the back of a horse drawn cart is now an interior design firm known internationally for its work in residential and commercial environments. “Every single job is different,” she explains. “My philosophy is that what I’m doing is solely for that person.”

Holzheimer’s approach for individuality is reflected in the multitude of different fabric, furniture, and architectural manufacturers that her company purchases through directly. She works with carpenter, refinisher, upholstery, restoration, and painting contractors to produces a unique look for each client.

Standing as testament to Holzheimer’s success is the word-of-mouth referrals Holzheimer receives and the worldwide reach of her Cleveland-based firm. She’s completed home and office designs for clients all over the world, including Tokyo, Saudi Arabia, and the Caribbean.
